Hi everyone,

I started me second childhood not long ago and bought a nice air rifle, paid more for it than some of my hunting rifles! I have been trying to find forums for them but have had no luck. Does anyone know of websites, forums or groups for air guns - anywhere? Thanks in advance for your help.

All of the airgun forums at www.network54.com are excellent.

I also just got the airgun "bug" a few weeks ago and have bought several air rifles since then. It's amazing how once expensive used air rifles can easily be found for next to nothing :)

My first gun was a break-barrel Cometa.
Since then I've gotten re-connected with the airgun sport several times.
But I have yet to find that "once expensive now next to nothing" airgun.
Send me a PM next time you run acroos one :)

Check your local gun shops for airgun deals. Most don't want anything to do with them... and especially don't know what they're worth or how to price them. Pawn shops can usually charge more because kids know they carry them.

Hi newguy here, and also interested in airguns.
Been shooting and collecting airguns as long as I have firearms.
I'm presently involved in film making, both amatuer and now professionally.
I'd say more but I figure that might be constued as spamming.

We use mostly dummy, blank firing, or airsoft replica guns in our work. Our base is in the UK, so real guns are not often available. Which is okay since one of our crews almost got taken out by a British SWAT team when they filmed too near Heathrow while carrying big fake looking SCI Fi weaponry, if they'd had real guns they'd probably have been whacked.
Our most recent efforts have been filmed at an old west town in the UK where blank guns and replicas were easily available.

Due to health problems I'm temporarily relegated to voiceovers to add my distinctive American accent to the mix, we also had several US actors fly over for that particular film.

Favorite CO2/airgun is my S&W 78g, which I recently rebuilt using a replacement valve I ordered from Gunparts of West Hurley.
I have a few realistic CO2 pistols I got mainly for prop use but found I could get a lot of good shooting practice in with these , which I couldn't manage with my real firearms due to the inability to travel out to the countryside because of the health problem I mentioned earlier.

I've made a few recent aquisitions in the antique firearm category, which I'll post about later in the proper threads.
