Hey Y'all ... I just bought a Powerline 901 (.177 cal) and I want to put a scope on it ... I know that spring loaded Air Rifles are tough on scopes but this is a pump ... can I use an old .22 scope that I have or do I need a special air rifle scope ... all my shooting will be w/in 25 yrds ... Thanks for any and all input. :)

Except that you will have major parallax & close focus issues with "any old" high-power scope.

A dedicated air-rifle scope can be close focused, and parallax corrected, from less then 25 feet to as far as you want to shoot.

I really like the Bushnell 3-9x32 air-rifle scope.

Comes with rings, covers, and target knobs that can be set to zero after sighting in.
The AO (Adjustable Objective) takes care of close range parallax problems.

$69 at Wally world get the Center point 4-16X40 it can be adjusted to as near as 5 yards out to infinity, target turrets that actually track with the reticle and are very handy for a variable power rifle like a pump as ya can readjust with a few clicks for reduced or extended trajectory, true spec mil dot reticle and illuminated
