Most of the people over here go for American "loadouts", mainly due to the variety of Armalites available. In one of the now-dead UK magazines, I've seen both Task Force 121 and SEAL Team 8-themed outfits.
The people I talk to who do this wear similar markings, but don't go as far as using the official insignia of the forces, as they feel that would "cheapen" the men and women they choose to emulate (according to those I talk to, you should only use real insignias if you've actually been a member of said force*).
*Mind you, any of the SG-teams from Stargate SG-1 are considered fair game, if you can find the right gear.
**The actual "sort" of gun changes, depending on what innocent group they're targeting for hate speech that week. It was found out not long ago that the actual gun was an illegal blank firer, made illegal due to the fact that it actually was capable of being converted.

As I recall, it was the Gun Control Network, followed closely by Mothers Against Guns, who made the claim. MAG stated that their leader's son was shot by a modified replica/Airgun**, which they use to justify banning all replicas (something that IMO, cannot be justifed in any way).Who claims that load of horse excrement?
