The price varies quite a bit based on the particulars. SKS prices rose earlier this year, but haven't changed much since the summer.

even WASR's are UP! 325-400$ online

SKS's too.

AK parts kits are up a good 30$ since last year
everything is more expensive.

buy it cheap, stack it deep

The last show in Phoenix (this past weekend) the largest in the state at the fairgrounds the SAR show had WASRs running $329 and Other AKs priced pretty much as they are online, Yugo's from Century were running from $475 up to $550 Romanian "G" kit builds from pro builders like AZEX and Lancaster and ARS were running from $499 to $600 depending on the configuration polish kit builds from the same outfits were priced similarly, Arsenal AKs were running $750 - $900 for milled recievers the stamped were running $650

SKSs were priced from $150 up to $200 for Yugos based on condition and vendor Norincos were running $175 (used) up to $365 (Honor guard new in box) Romanians Averaged $250 with Russians running from $325 - $400

Its kinda my "job" to go around all of the vendors and see what the going rate is for everything, Don did have one of my custom Virgin kit built Yugo M70AB2s with hand rubbed teak wood and siderail scope mount and 4 brand new Yugo BHO mags in new Yugo poucch with unissued new Yugo bayo and grenade launcher the entire rifle was polished and hot tank blued it sold in 2 hours for $1600 I think it was the highest priced AK in the show for a semi auto and a h#ll of a deal as that particular rifle would shoot 1.5" all day long at 100 yards with a 6x42 POSP scope on it, it was a custom order that the customer died in a car accident back in Missouri so it never got paid for or delivered etc...

Ya must not have spent much time looking at very many of the vendors prices...... they were exactly the same as they were last year at the last SAR show except the Century Yugo's came down by $75 from what they were selling for last year and the honor guard SKSs dropped from $499 that they were selling for last year the Romanian SKSs went up $25-$50 over last years prices

Heh, heh, heh, there's a pawn shop in Laurel, MS, which thinks it's guns are absolute gold. Literally, LITERALLY, they have a shooter-grade Yugo SKS lacking the magazine (though it could have a detachable somewhere) for $619. Yes, that's right, $619. Same folks own one in Hattiesburg and they have a folding-stock Yugo SKS for, yes that's right, $799!

But then, these guys are trying to sell a used Mossberg 100ATR for $499. Yeah, that's twice what the rifle costs new. Yeah, it did have a scope - a bottom-line Bushnell. While I like the ATR, that is just plane loony.

And, lest anyone not believe me, the shops are Pawn Express on 16th Ave North near Bush Dairy Road, Laurel, and Pawn Shop Plus on Hardy Street across from the Zoo, Hattiesburg.

At $619 for a $99 SKS, there isn't even room to start talking.
