AK customizing

I recently bought a Romanian WSAR-10 that is unreliable.
I've decided to make lemonade from this lemon and have the rifle customized (plastic furniture, refinished, AK-74 muzzle break, etc) as well as repaired.

But I don't know of any shops that specialize in AK customizing/repair.

Anyone know of a good AK custom shop?

AK-USA is my AK smith and can do just about anything you like. Chris does some of the best work around. Search around here and on AK-47.net and you'll find that everyone who has used him has been completely satisfied.

What kind of problems are you experiencing?

Two other shops besides AK-USA are:

1. In Range
2. Ohio Rapid Fire

It will intermittently (0-4 times per magazine) eject the empty and strip the fresh round from the magazine, but fail to cock the hammer and close the bolt.

The bolt sticks open about 3 inches and I can't even push it forward without releasing the magazine catch and lowering the magazine out a hair.

Only problem then is that hammer isn't cocked.
