Guys...
I recently purchased four EG Bakelite mags, a really nice Bulgy sling, cleaning kit, and a reddish-brown "Bulgarian" pistol grip from Desert Fox Outfitters. I have purchased from these folks before. While not the least expensive company to buy from, they have always been easy to deal with, ship fast, and sell a really premium product.
A few months ago I purchased a Waffen Werks AK-74. I have been trying to make this rifle as "Bulgarian" as is possible.
I have seen online (at most sites) "Bulgarian" AK pistol grips selling for anywhere between $10-$25 (really??? for a molded piece of plastic?) However, the price is the price.
I bought my "reddish-brown" Bulgarian AK pistol grip from DFO for $1.00. Once again...REALLY?? Everyone else is selling theirs for $10-$25.
Do not get me wrong. This grip looks GREAT.
Is it truly a Bulgarian grip? How do I tell? Where do I look? Final question...If it is truly as I purchased...why at such a discount?
Any ideas or comments?
Thanks much
