I just received and installed this product to replace a DPMS trigger. So far I like the feel of of it but I have yet to fire the rifle with it installed. I may have to retrain for my trigger control with this one. It pulls up quickly and then a little more pressure drops the hammer. It surprises me during dry fire so it will be interesting to see what the result is during live fire. The DPMS wasn't horrible to me but my frame of reference is various versions of the M16 and a little with the M4 from years ago. Memory about triggers has faded some but I bought the DPMS shortly after I got out and the trigger wasn't objectionable to me then.
So if you're not hating your trigger enough to spend $100-$300, the ALG might be worth the $45 investment. Nickel-boron takes it up to $65, but I'm not sure I really see the point. Midway and Brownell's (plenty of reviews) carry it and I'm sure others do as well. It was an add-on to get free shipping(my story and I'm stickin' to it) with a 10-pack of Brownell's magazines that are on sale. Orders over $150 get free shipping with code EB1.
