There used to be a show on TV called "Space: Above and Beyond". It was about a squad of Marines deployed in space to fight an alien race intent of destroying mankind. In one of the episodes, the Marines are doing some target practice using something like a B27 Silhouette, but in the shape of the aliens (they called them 'Chigs' BTW).

Well, somewhere on the 'net I found this image that someone obviously grabbed from a screen shot. I found that if you scale it to a full 8x11 page when you print it and hang it at 50 yards, it would be approximately equivalent to a full size alien at 200 yards or so. Everyone loves these at the range when we're shooting ARs and AKs. :)

A few years ago, CCI was selling a Velociraptor target as a promotional thing for their Velocitor 22LR ammo. I'm not sure what the scaling is on these, but they seem to work best at 15-25 yards.

Anybody else have any cool targets to share?

LOL The alien one looks like fun, but I get a 404 error when I click the picture. Try reloading it, or hosting it somewhere else.

I don't know about a body shot on a dinosaur. They are slow bleeders. Head shot under the eye.:)

I fixed it. It was a typo in the link. Sorry 'bout that.
