IMHO, if you live in a state where you are not specifically registered with one party or the other for the primary, go ahead and vote for Hillary. McCain's got it sewn up, and Obama's going to be a serious danger if he gets in. Best strategy is running McCain against Hillary at this point. I don't think _either_ of those two will "accomplish" much, but Obama's gonna get some major passes, and may end up really hurting us.

John McCain introduced legislation that would require an instant criminal background check for all sales at gun shows and believes that such checks must be conducted quickly to ensure that unnecessary delays do not effectively block transactions.

John McCain has opposed "waiting periods" for law abiding citizen's purchase of firearms.


The confiscation of firearms after an emergency

John McCain opposes the confiscation of firearms from private citizens, particularly during times of crisis or emergency. He voted in favor of an amendment sponsored by Senator David Vitter prohibiting such confiscation.


Stiffer Penalties for Criminals who use a Firearm in the Commission of a Crime

I am afraid you are wrong on at least one of your points, John McCain did vote for closing the gun show "loophole"- that loophole is a basic right in Arizona. Then again since I live in Arizona I might be a little more sensative about a RINO like the loser John McCain. Make no mistake, John McCain is a shill for Big Business Interests, at least as big as Bush is. Also I have lived here long enough to see McCain do a 180 and now fight against things he once supported.
