Montana bullet works is shut down temporarily. My last order and check was returned yesterday unopened with a letter from Dave's wife saying due to family emergency they would be completely shut down for a while.

I liked their bullets and great service. They were exceptional.
I am looking for a replacement supplier at least for a while.

I load 44 mag pistol and 45-70 rifle. I like WFN or LFN bullet styles. I liked bullets from Veral Smith's LBT molds, I liked Veral Smith's lube, and I need .432" in the 44's and .460" in the 45-70's.

I am having a hard time finding all these prerequisites in one supplier. They may make LBT, at least that style of bullet, but maybe not in the oversize I prefer. Also I've heard that Beartooth uses LBT moulds, but not Veral's lube.

Any opinions?

Beartooth at http://www.beartoothbullets.com/
Badman at http://www.badmanbullets.com/OnlineStore/cast-lead-bullets.html
Oregon Trail for high dollar stuff Oregon Trail http://www.laser-cast.com/45Cal.html

All 3 are excellent however Badman are good for hunting smaller game and plinking loads while Beartooth and Oregon are great for the heavier stuff with stronger loads. There is also Doc Holiday's Tombstone bullets and he can be contacted at Marlin Firearms Forum. He makes some great 45-70 bullets also in the class of Beartooth and Oregon trail for hunting loads.

I too feel comfortable recommending Falcon. I just bought 1000 .45 230 gr. for $96.50 shipped. They look fine.

Ah guys goingballistic and falcon don't sell 45-70 bullets which the OP is looking for Dardus doesn't list any weights or bullets directly.

Then why does going ballistic list 5 different 45-70 bullets on their website?

Jesse I went to the site and selected 45 rifle and there was nothing. I stand corrected and will check again as I'm want to try more than I have.
