We've all read your close minded opinionated drivel just fine thank you very much.
Closed-minded??? You can call me a lot of things but that is not one of them. You must've missed the part where I said I owned an AR and enjoyed it very much AND I like the way it looks. Like I said, trying actually reading my posts. There is NO reason whatsoever for your hostility. Or are you just looking for a fight???

To the OP.
Is it one of those "I never grew up" rifles people get?

I see this the other way around. It is you that didn't adapt to the natural changes and evolution in firearms.
We all know by now that those species that can adapt to the constant changing environment around them, are the ones that have the best chances of survival.

They go well with my other guns.....Black Glock, Black Mossburg 935, Black GP 100, Black CZ Rami.....

Besides, it is a design that can be cleaned out with a fire hose, lightly oiled, and back into the action!

My only point was that I don't buy the "looks don't matter" statements.

AVERT THINE EYES!

If looks really mattered I wouldn't own THIS!! Looks don't matter to me on some guns. Performance and feel do. I own beauties and beasts. I'm not gonna keep a pretty gun that doesn't perform just cause its pretty. The reverse is true too there's always a place in my safe for an ugly or good looking gun that performs well and handles

I never said or implied that the way a gun looks was more important than its function. I surely never said that it was the only thing that mattered. All I said is that the folks who said bluntly that looks DO NOT matter, are not being honest with us or themselves.

You can, however, have both. You don't have to give up either. It just seems to me that those who give up looks for function do so in a more elitist and condescending manner than their counterpart. There are snobs on both sides.

Well, in alot of places in the world, the outline of the AK represents an oppressive way of life, while the outline of the M16 (AR) represents freedom. So, that's why I voted #4.
