I've passed on two invites from unknown women to walk with them in the middle of the night. They weren't going in my direction though. Guess I can stop having those regrets now 
Ambush at the beach

True ambush story here, as related to me by very close friends.
Two of my friends, Mike and Adam were out at another friends house in a very rural area. They decided to go to a local bar, again which was literally in the middle of nowhere. Adam was driving, and his vehicle was a brand new 2003 BMW 540. They spent about an hour in the bar and decided it wasn't somewhere they wanted to sit and drink. They left the bar at around 01:00hrs. Upon leaving they were approached by 2 rather attractive females in a newer model Ford Explorer. The females asked if they wanted to go with them to an "after hours" spot for some "fun". My friends figured, "hey, what the hell" and decided to follow them. The Explorer went on some winding backroads, most of which weren't even paved. Adam decided something wasn't right and attempted to turn around when two older SUV's block the roadway. They had been sitting in a high-grass field and after the BMW passed they had moved to block the road. The Explorer with the two females then blocked the road in front of the BMW. 4 guys got out of the older SUV's and demand that my friends surrender the BMW or get shot, literally. They then fired a shot thru a back window of the BMW. Adam and Mike proceeded to return fire in the direction of the shot. The ambushers fired MANY more times. Adam was carrying a Glock 20 and a .38. Mike had a USP .45 and a Glock 30. Both reported emptying one magazine and reloading and getting about half thru the second mag before the two SUV's tore off into the field. Adam and Mike had managed to get out of the vehicle and find cover. The BMW got hit 8 times and lost two windows in the process. They drove directly to the local State Police Barracks and filed a report. The state informed them that there had been a similar attempt earlier in the night involving the same setup, except the victim was driving a newer Covertte. Officers photographed the BMW and inspected the scene. Near where the actors vehicles were, they recovered 9mm and .40cal casings. The following night 3 men were admitted to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. During the following investigations the Officers located one of the actor's SUV's, an old Chevrolet Blazer with multiple holes in it parked at one of the wounded actor's homes. I know there is a trial scheduled for it but that's the last I heard. It also made me even more suspicious of situations where things seem too good to be true.

Hey Guys! Just got back from Santee-Cooper, SC and caught a mess of nice catfish! To keep it gun related, I carried the entire time. Thank god for reciprocity!

Oh yeah, no offers to go for walks with pretty women (except my wife). Smelling like stinkbait has its advantages!
