American Arms Derringer DA

What does everyone think of the two shot derringer by American Arms the one that is double action. Out here where it is so darn hot and recently humid I've been carrying a SS .380 which is small and easily concealable. However I think a .38 with +P loads might be a bit more effective. I checked the Bond Derringer but those are a bit too heavy and bulky. When it cools off I usually carry my XD 40 or my Colt Gold Cup in .45.

The company is American Derringer, not American Arms. Their website lists the copyright as 2011, which is the closest to the present I've ever seen them come. A lot of their products are vaporware (LM5), so good luck at ever finding a DA38.

I had one a while back. Fun little gun. I traded it in a fit of madness. They seem to have gotten a little pricey since I did. Story of my life, buy high, sell low.

Well I've found one of the double actions at the gunshop I work at. I can pick it up for $300.00 out the door. Think I just might go for it. Thanks again folks.
