[Ugly Sauce]

I posted a while back, a request as to where I could find a butt stock for an American Gun Co. New York double barreled, 12 gauge hammer gun that I got for free, that is in super-excellent-fantastic-locks up like Fort Knox condition...but didn't have a....wait for it....butt stock.

Someone suggested Gunville stocks, I don't remember who, but thanks. It arrived today, and it's the nicest chunk of wood, super straight grain running through it. Important on the old double hammer guns.

Am I happy or what. And the cost was super reasonable. Happy happy. Saved a really nice old double from the parts-bin.

Please post a photo or two when your old double is sorted out... I don't own one but really admire them...

Will do. Might take a few weeks. They seem to be a really well made gun. The one I have was made in 1905, and locks up tighter than a drum.
