You might not like the Beretta 20, as I have pushed the weight up from 6.6 to 7.3 lbs. -- a steel rod in the mag tube and some lead behind the KO system. The added weight sure does soak up the recoil, though.

Nothing wrong with that. I have 4 shot-filled hulls in the mag tubes of both my 1100 Competition, and my 870 TB.

No, I'm sure he's better looking.

;) Ok. we'll leave it at that.

I just shot my best score to date of 21 using my bottom barrel and a modified choke, 30" browning sporter from the OP, firing #7 1/2 24g shells. I also ordered a high rib monte carlo 32" trap browning.

A guy at the trap club helped me relax my stance, and cleaned up my footwork a bit and it's really helped. Swinging through is working best for me and is the technique im trying to master. I'm not as fast as some guys but now when I miss its usually because I lost sight of the bird or lost my swing focusing on trying to see the bird. The guys at the club are so nice and I've made a couple friends!

I hope the high rib advances my game even further, thanks to everyone who offered me tips!!

Just got the high rib in. I'm very pleased with the shot show special maple furniture. The grain glitters almost like mother of pearl and has a really striking visual affect in the light. New high score of 22!

I just need to master hard left on station 1, and hard right on station 5, and I can see a 25 in my future!!

I did 7 games today and the recoil pad plus my vest pad mean I don't even feel it after shooting all day from 11am pacific until now, 4pm pacific.

What a great day of American trap shooting!

When on post 1 and 5.
Defend against that hard angle with your feet in the proper position for comfortable swing to the extreme angle.
Before calling for your bird, point your gun below the left edge of the traphouse(or right edge if on post 5). That extreme angle bird leaves the house ever so slightly lower than the other angles. Don't let it get the jump on you. You get the jump on it. See it. Move your fore end hand back an inch or two on post 1 and 5 will give you the feeling of a quicker swing.
Remember to, and practice standing upright and mounting your gun high on your shoulder. The benefits are huge.
Don't stop your swing.

I love the look of the maple. It's a beautiful gun.
