We had our registered skeet shoot at our club this weekend and I stopped by to BS with some of the guys I used to shoot the state shoots with. On saturday evening after the shootoffs and supper was done some scheduled games were to be held under the lights. Well I didn't have the gun I wanted to shoot with and I hadn't shot games for a couple of years so I buzzed on home 15 miles and buzzed back with a different shotgun. I signed up for a game of wobble scrap, which is wobble trap shot on a skeet semi-circle, or wherever the lead shooter wants to shoot from. Well as it turned out I was the lead shooter and had never shot wobble scrap or wobble trap for that matter. 25 shells were shot and and you shoot each position untill you hit your target, some with the first shot some with the fifth. We had about 14 guys shooting with some half drunk spectators telling everyone how to do it right. I started out on the regular skeet stations and then was told to make it fun and move around some, so we started shooting fom 30, then 35, then back to almost 40 yards back at some hard left and right angle shots. Five or six of us were left and one guy says take us around the back of the skeet house in the dark to shoot. Well I thought that was a good idea so we went around in the pitch black shadow behind the skeet house to the other field and set up at the other trap house and started shooting 80 degree to 100 degree crossing birds. Not seeing my barrel or beads doesn't bother me and I broke my second shot but it worked on the other shooters. It ended up that three of us were left with a three way tie when we ran out of our 25 shells so we split the money, but what a blast we had..:D

Indeed, it sounds like fun! Shot a few rounds of trap under lights, and did well. Nothing to distract, IMO.

Anyone running 25 at that game is oneheckuva shotgunner...
