I am looking at the Ameriglo Operator night sights for my G19. I noticed that the front sight in the only sight with a white outline for daytime shooting. I like the idea of the thinner blade in front but was wondering if the absence of white outline on the rear sights make them harder to use in the day.

Does anyone have experience with these?

I have this sight for a M&P. Not having the white outlines on the rear makes it better as you can focus in on the front sight more easily and faster. The thing that is an issue for me is the width of the rear notch at least on the M&P.

Makes it much better.

White outline sights wash out badly in sunlight and make it hard to get a good sight picture.

I had the Operators, but liked the traditional nights better. The owner of Ameriglo sold me a new set for $40. The white plastic ring crumbled on the frt sight, and instead of replacing it, He gave me the option of getting a compleate new set for a good price. Great company to deal with:)
