Cracks me up, I keep seeing on Armslist people selling $25 boxes of 9mm and $800 Glock 19s.

Are people actually buying guns and ammo at these ridiculous prices?

I’ve seen plenty of GB auctions with Mossberg 590A1s bid up over $1000. I can only assume they are selling for these prices.

Probably first time gun owners buying them for SD since most current gun owners already have something adequate that they bought for a normal price.

Haven't heard of anyone paying 8 bills for a G19, but $25 a box of 50 9mm isn't far fetched currently. If I ran across brass case ammo for that, I'd probably pick up a couple boxes.

OTOH, if someone wanted this P228 I just picked up a few weeks ago, and was willing to pay current GunBroker prices I'd be back to not needing 9mm ammo ;)

They might be. If you are an urban small business owner facing nightly riots, looting, and arson while the Democratic mayor keeps police from responding to the violence, you may be in urgent need of a firearm. In which case, not so funny.

I don't think people defending themselves from looters and thieves is funny either.

Most of the 9mm brass cased ammo I own I bought during the "Trump Slump", I was paying around $6-$8 per box of 50.

Those prices aren't ridiculous at all. What makes you think measly dollars are worth so much 9mm ammo or so many Glocks when the Treasury has been giving them away as fast as they can and Congress is deadlocked over just how many trillions they want to spend immediately? I call $2000 Model 19's by 2023.

Now crazy prices are TSLA at P/E of 1300 to 1. The price of the electric car maker's shares has gone up 500% this year, because of what? All the car buyers? Now that cracks me up, and I won't pay it, but you better believe I'm not joining the shorts.
