I went to Academy earlier and while the wife was shopping, was looking at ammo, just to see what’s available. I haven’t really looked in about 2 years.
The common calibers of 9mm, 40S&W, 45 auto, 380 acp, 38 special, 223, and 30-06, were all available.
The only less than common caliber available was 45 Colt at the cost of $65 per box of 50.
Plenty of 22s available in short and long rifle, for about $5 a box. Not bad and very glad to see it.
Shotshell were up a few dollars a box. Remington heavy dove loads were $12 a box, whereas they were $10 the last I checked.
No primers and only 1 pound of powder, CFE pistol. I didn’t note the prices on either.
I sure am glad I’m a reloader and bullet caster. Thankful I have a working stock of primers and 22s.
I do feel for those folks that don’t reload or are just getting started. It must be tough as heck.
