Ammo prices at Knob Creek

I was wondering if anybody would have an idea on what 5.56/.223 is gonna cost at Knob Creek. This will be my first year going and im going to be buying around 500 rounds or so but im going to be buying it with 3 or 4 other guys who are going to be being getting at least a 1000 each. So what can I be expecting to pay? Also any idea on 7.62x39 for 500 or less?

Why not buy it before you get there & then you are guarenteed to have it and know the cost in advance.

yeah, I'd buy in advance. Get a whole ton of Wolf ammo for cheap. ATG has Wolf .223 for $299/1,000 and Hornady TAP FMJBT Trainer .223 $319/1,000

I assume you mean the machine gun shoot this weekend, not just normal range shooting. Man its hard to say as I have not been since the election, but I would guess that ammo will be about what any other gun show is right now. The flea market/guns show is spectacular and I am sure there will be some deals to be had, but at what cost I do not know. Bring money, cause their is a table with about anything you can think of for sale.

As far as shooting at the event, good luck. Both ranges stay pretty busy and the list to get on one is tough. Have fun, there really is nothing like it. Stick around for the night shoot, I should be able to make it on Sat, I'll be the guy in the camo.............

Well im only going to be able to bring $350 or so. Ya I got a huge list of things to look for but im only gonna be able to buy a few things off of it. Ya its the machine gun show, im staying there for the weekend. Im not going to be able to shoot this year because I got to much to buy Im only 18 so money is a little tight.

Ammo prices are about the same as any gun show. Lots of vendors, shop around for the best prices. This is the place to buy surplus ammo. Come early as the late comers often need hiking shoes to get from parking. I could say bring lots of money, but nobody ever seems to bring enough.
