Well, we missed catching TheSlingers... Ran into a coupla other folks (VZ and Garrett), and generally kicked back.
That is, we kicked back when Wendy wasn't buying guns...
We picked up a his'n'her's pair of Yugo M48A Mausers ($80 each!) in nicely shootable condition, and she bought herself an M44 and a Yugo SKS. Then there was the ammo... Got some good stuff for both the Mausers and the SKS, but I'm gonna need to hunt for noncorrosive boxer stuff for the M44...
Then there was the concept of accessories... Camoflage is a must. I had my old Norinco 1911 parkerized at the Hawkeye tent, and dang, but it's pretty...
Intune made it Friday night, and we cooked up some kielbasa he brought... With onions, peppers, etc., it definitely kept the 'skeeters away.
There was a fair amount of ceremonial Shiner and Knob Creek imbibing, but Wendy and I crashed early. Then it was breakfast in the morning...
Our group under the big blue tent with the green van with the Shiner bottle on top was...
Myself & Wendy
Zorna (Wendy's sister)
Kay
Intune
Arne & Linda
Mike, Arne III and Sabrina
Pat & Chauncey (friends of Arne's)
We were also visited at times by other folks, including David (the "stamp collector"), etc... John Ross made it down on Saturday, but I think he was a bit preoccupied, what with the clusterbleep going on in Missouri...
Folks were wondering where Oleg was... All together now... Oleg, you're a wussie!
