A lot of people are still complaining about ammo availability and prices especially 380. Check out http://www.advancedtactical.com/ they have 380fmj brass case for 18.99 a box and a lot of their other prices are pretty fair. RThis is the armscor website and when I bought my new rock island there was a 10% coupon in the case with the gun taht got me a 1000rd case of 45acp for 350.00 delivered. And according to their site all the ammo is in stock.

I can (now) find .380 locally at WalMart for 36 per 100 (18 per 50), or 36 Cents Per Round (CPR), but that's before taxes.

For .45ACP I'm looking now and shipped prices seem to be 36.5 CPR, unless you can score the better deal at WalMart. No coupons here. gun-deals.com is your friend.

Some calibers are still hard to find on a regular basis. Noticed Sportsman Warehouse had quite a bit of FMJ 380 on the shelf. I suppose that is better than nothing.

I bought a few boxes of CCI Stingers hypervelocity at my local wallyworld yesterday. $5.47 50/rds. The last time I bought them a few years ago they were $3.15 50/rds. :barf:

Cabela's has 50 rounds of HP for $22! It was not a brand I knew though so I passed. They had speer gold dot for about the same price for $20.

I went with the gold dot as I am picking up the dies to reload for practice ammo.

Anyone have any experience with p3-at and leadball?

Don't break out the champagne just yet. I am holding a box of 50 PMC 90 gr., .380 FMJ marked "$7.00" that I bought some time since the turn of the century. :p

I was able to score some .380 PMC Brass for $14.95 around Christmas. I bought several hundred rounds and, after trying the stuff out, was sorry that I did; it is, without question, the dirtiest stuff I've ever fired through a handgun, bar none. At least the price was good. :) I recently stumbled on some American Eagle .380 for $13.99 per 50-round box -- better price by a bit, but a far better quality of ammo, IMO. Bottom line: If you are patient and look around, you can sometimes find some decent buys, even on .380 ACP.
