You have to buy 500 rounds for that price?

That would be unreasonable, if you weren't in Asia.

I doubt many of us have a comprehensive list of Asian ammo prices.

Lastly, the LGS is in a South East Asian country where I am based.

Well...that changes things a bit.
For US-based LGSs/gun shows, I'd call those prices "not bad at all". The 9mm is a buck or two higher than I generally see at WM, but the rest are very much in line. I'd call them "average" prices, because "fair" is entirely subjective.

Being "across the pond" (the other, really big pond), those might be giveaway prices. I would certainly expect that commercial ammo prices in any other part of the world would be higher than on the US mainland, purely due to the economies of scale and the law of supply and demand.
