I didn't know where else to post this question. My apologies if I got it wrong.

Where can I buy a ton of 9mm FMJ rounds for a good if not great price?

I'm talking thousands of rounds here. Any help would be great. Nothing to worry about. Just stocking up and don't want to do it 2-3 boxes at a time.

I've got at least 5 walmarts within 15 miles of me, and each of them has 9x19 115g wwb stacked at least 4 deep, 15 wide and 8 high.

At least.

If you ask, they can bring out a case or two or three for you if they have it. They usually have cardboard boxes that you can stack at least 20 boxes in without it breaking.

Before I started reloading I would go in and buy like that all the time. No big deal.

that or cast them your self and load em. my cost is probably .04cents a round. i cast my own bullets. Powder recently i have been using lilgun 6 grains. winchester small pisol primer. there you go. very cheap. $30.00 for a box of 1000 primers. lead its like $50.00 for 60lbs. which can give you thousands of thousands. then the powder is about $18.00 a lbs. which can give you a lot at 6 grains a bullet. so at that rate i would look into reloading and casting

Thanks for the feedback. looks like 1000 rounds can range from 150-200 bucks. I guess the next question is steel casings vs. brass. does it really make that big of a difference when it comes to the internals of your gun?

At first I thought you meant a literal ton. I don't know where you'd buy that much ammo.

I have bought reloaded ammo from Georgia Arms before, and I liked it pretty much. 124 gr 9mm was $175/1000 when I first bought from them, then it was $185/100, now it's $200/1000. If you are buying 1000s, they might give you a further discount, I don't know.

At $200/1000, I am not quite as excited at the deal. I like brass, and I like 124 gr, but I may be able to beat $10/50 by shopping around.
