Ammo shortages

I was at Academy sports and outdoors earlier today to get some ammo. The ammo shelves were almost completely barren, and the ammo that was left was getting grabbed up by the 40+ people crowding the area.
They didn't have any Winchester Super X 12 gauge slugs, so I called Wally world, they didn't have any either. So I then called the local gun shop and all they had was a box of Remington sluggers.

My gun only likes Winchester slugs and I'm down to 7.
I'd hate to see it starve.

Life is going to change for a while, not just for us gun fans but for everybody. People will take care more of what they have, ration things more, eat all the food on the plate instead of throwing half of it in the garbage.

I watched a young teen the last time at the range fire off as fast as he could a AR shooting into the sand dune, no target was even up, dad kept feeding him a fresh 30 rd magazine as soon as he emptied the first one, not even trying to teach the kid marksmanship, that dad is probably one of those panicking the worst right now that he can't get any .223 or that prices are triple now.

That's just sad, when I have kids they only get to dump a 30 round mag if they can keep their group on a man size target.

If my boy does an "ammo dump" he'll be all done shooting for the day. I teach safety and accuracy.
