AmmoMan, anyone ordered from them, recently?

1. How good are they in terms of communications?
2. Do you get an order confirmation email, right after you place an order?
3. How quick do they ship?

Well, they suck. Placed an order with them on 10/23. CC was charged same day, $850. No email confirmation whatsoever. So, I signed in to check my order status tonight. And, I got this, "You have no orders".:cuss:
Sent them a request to clarify what the heck is going on. Don't expect any clarification until Monday, since their website says they're "OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY".
 
I've had several good experiences with them.

Give them a chance to fix their mistake.

What's the problem?
This is the first time I ordered from them. I wanted to know if this is the exception rather than rule with them. If they do this routinely, then they will never get my business again. But, if this was some glitch in the system, then I might give them another chance in the future.
 
Nothing lately but I did order from them a couple of years ago. Was surprised at how quickly they shipped and received everything that I ordered.

Maybe just a blip in the ordering system. Give them a call on Monday to sort things out.
 
I've ordered from them plenty often. In fact, I did so this past week. Communications is typically good, shipping is typical, no complaints. It's always been hassle free for me. I trust them, and will continue to order from them.
 
Ammoman is one of the few paying vendors to be kicked off AR15.com

He advertised an SKS rifle as a "Vietnam bringback"...........it wasn't and clearly had import marks. He refused to refund the buyers $$$$ and when challenged by AR15 site staff chose to lawyer up.


Do a Google search on Ammoman and you'll discover just how great his customer service is.:what:
 
I live about 20 minutes from his warehouse, but have never bought anything from him. It's not that I've heard anything bad. I always seem to be able to find what I need cheaper elsewhere on the internet.

Just got an email from UPS this AM, having 2 heavy packages to be delivered tomorrow.
Shipper: L G
Original destination: Knoxville, TN

My guess is this is the ammo shipment, because that's the only delivery I am expecting right now. But, I'm confused. I thought AmmoMan was from NJ? Do they have another shipping warehouse out of TN? Weird. :confused:

Next time you want to buy bulk there are several companies I prefer to Ammoman, both for service and price. Everyone has their favorites, but assuming they have what you want in stock TargetSportsUSA is the best price around, plus they too offer free bulk shipping. Good luck, I hope your ammo is on its way!

Lucky Gunner is based in Knoxville, and I guess (?) that it shipped from there and that LG means LuckyGunner.
 
Had nine(9) orders with them.

No problems what so ever.

For those with complaints, if you don't get an e mail conformation then the order didn't go through.

Been happy and will use again.

If that is true, then LG is affiliated with AmmoMan? That's the only explanation, because I know I went on AmmoMan website and ordered (CC was charged by AmmoMan), and I did not know about LG until now. Just weird.
 
Ordered from him multiple times over the years. I like that he deals in bulk only (serious gun owners only). Always ships quickly...and getting money towards future orders is always a nice feature.

Usually...when you combine free shipping and no tax his price is hard to beat particularly for large orders. He's been my go to guy for 5.56 / 7.62 lately.
 
Never had any issues with them. Bought a few 1000 rnds from them last year and another K a couple weeks ago.
 
Just got off the phone with them. The guy told me, yes, "everything is now shipped from our warehouse in Knoxville, TN".
Problem solved.
