I came extremely close to buying a dangerous game rifle once. It was a Ruger #1 in I believe 458 Lott. Then I looked at the price of a box of rounds........I did not buy that rifle.
That looks nice all, but if you're looking to a .375 H&H, I suggest the Sig-Sauer 202 Safari with interchangable barrels. Although, my CZ safari also was pleasing to shhot, but sprayed oil mist on my eyeglass lens via the firing pin. So many fine firearms, so little vault space, so little money.
You know what the H & H stands for in 375 H&H dont you??? It stands for HOOT and HOLLER !!!! because thats what most people do after they pull the trigger the first time !!!! LOL
Seriously -- would anyone who was facing dangerous game in the bush want to be carrying a 700 push-feed action without so much as a bolt lock to help keep it from jamming on the first shot?
Remingtons make fine rifles for targets, deer, etc. But dangerous game?
