Thank you. in the spirit of the holiday season and the impending new year i would like to express my sincerest wishes to all of THR. it's administrators for giving us high roaders a place to learn, educate or entertain fellow firearms enthusiasts. for the moderators, you have a job i don't envy...thanks for keep it high roadish..it could be otherwise..to all THR members who contribute their positive comments, facts, knowledge and experiences..i learned a lot this year. even those that were not quite appropiate "YMMV" i had a good laugh too. i need one of those every once in a while. i can honestly say that i look forward to visiting this site on the net. i am grateful to be a part of it and do wish everyone nothing but peace, health and joy come to you and your families in the coming year..thanks for sharing and for allowing me and others the privilege to contribute our .02 cents worth of opinion..i get more out of THR, than all my paid subscriptions to gun magazines and it doesn't cost me a thing. keep up the good work. THR, i luv you man!! thanks, "el rancherito.";) :)

your comments to the THR site/community are welcomed as an addition to the open letter...:)

You are certainly welcome my friend. I'm glad to have you as a member of
our close knit family here at THR. Wishing all a very safe, joyous, and happy
holiday season~!:D

Thought For The Day:

Be nice too everyone, cuz everyone is battling some kind'a problem.

And to add........

I stumbled upon this site very recently. I too wish to thank EVERYONE and wish all a safe and joyous holiday season.

Its a great forum, the best in fact...bar none :p

I've been contemplating a similar thread for quite some time, CZ.

(By the way, my CZ 452 came in yesterday. It's still at the gun store; I'm too busy to pick it up yet. Talk about a kid that can't wait to get to the presents under the tree... BTW: if you have an opinion about an appropriate scope for hunting with said rifle, click here.)

I couldn't agree more: THR is one of the finest forums on the web. A college-level eduction with major in weaponry & minor in sociology & political science for far less money than the Ivory Towers charge (says one who spent 16 year in them as a student {yes, multiple graduate degrees}, and another 8 as instructor).

When I wake up each morning, I check THR first. Before going to bed, I check THR last. I check in during multiple 'breaks' from business during the day.

Informative, readable, fun, intriguing.

Kudos to the admins for keeping it up. Salude to the mods for keeping it sane.

Well done to you (us) all.

Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice and all that.

I'd like second whats been said.

As a firearm noobie and convert to the importance of RKBA I have learned alot here.

Thanks

Same to ya, CZ. Merry Christmas to all, and please keep our troops spending Christmas out there in harm's way in your prayers.

Ditto.

I'm a confirmed THR addict and try to glean as much informtion and enjoyment from the community as I can.

You just can't help love a site where you can still express VALUES & ETHICS...

Those aren't just oxymorons I'm a usin'! They're real, and they're here for a healthy daily dose! Best of all, I'm still free to say...

MERRY CHRISTMAS, WAL MART!

May the Lord bless us and protect us all, and especially our men and women in harm's way.

Thanks fellow THRers!

I also would like to express my sincere thanks to my fellow High Roaders. I have had an eye opening experiance here. The knowledge and wisdom that can be found here are amazing. And the willingness to share advice, experiance, and concern, have convinced me that this is the BEST place on the web for someone who enjoys the RKBA. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Haunakah, Peaceful Solstice, and may you burn THRICE the powder that you burned in 2005.

+1 to everything said so far...I've learned a lot here. Good, diverse group with a wide range of opinion, and(usually) highly intelligent discourse. Thanks.

+1, the more that I learn from THR and yous guys (and gals), the more I realize how little I knew/know.

Thanks and Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays.

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but THR is delightful . . .":D

The shopping days are dwindling away for you all to complete my wish list. I'll just continue to wait patiently for everyone's gift . . . still waiting . . . *crickets chirping, coyote howling* . . .:D

Great post! Happy holidays day to everyone and I look forward to another great year of wandering the High Road with all of you.
