A general "THANKS" to THR!

A bit off topic but in the spirit of the season I wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to all of the members of THR. In the past year I have truely enjoyed and benefitted from the community here.

THR is (obviously) a pro-gun site but there are plenty of people willing to play "devil's advocate" and so the debates here often raise viewpoints and questions that might never have occurred to me on my own.

The knowledgebase to be tapped is amazing and has brought this old dog back up to speed with modern firearms in an astoundingly short time, especially considering how long I was "out of the fold".

Again, just wanted to say THANKS and wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season!

I'm in. Thanks to Oleg, all the moderators, and members of THR for making this the best gun-related forum on the web. I migrated here when TFL shut down for a while, and though I drop in there now that it's back up, THR has become my home.

This is my favorite gun forum too. I like it because it has a laid back, polite and friendly old-timer feel, although after saying that I see there are actually alot of people in their 20s like me.

Thanks THR, this has become my favorite overall firearms board and the one I frequent most. I like it here.

Learned a lot about guns, and also about some other things too. Like how you can bloat rats with powdered potatoes and water as cheap pest control, for example.

For letting me back! Wow..about a month ago something weird happened and I was unable to sign in. Now, out of the blue..all is well!

It's a cold, cruel world without THR. Lonely and desperate, I'd try to engage complete strangers in gun related conversations. Thank God I'm in Texas..they understood.

I even added a "trigger" fish and a small "hammer"head to my aquarium in attempts to surround myself with like minded creatures. Just not the same!

You truely don't miss your water 'til that well runs dry!
