Just loaded up some IMR 4895 in the same type of can and it gave me a dime size group with Barnes Bullets in a 30-06. Totally happy, and the total cost of a box of Barnes 30-06 130gr Hunting bullets is 14.40 cents instead of a 50 dollar bill. Hell yeah Oh it was at a 100yds, so nothing to get excited about, but it may kill a deer. Dropped off the gun with my buddy to polish the trigger and drop it to 3.5 lbs and put a nice kickeez on it, and the wife will be ready for that 4X4 we saw. No need to get closer than 200 yards now.
Thanks, but not a sticky yet. It might be at 90%, but I think there are some more things I will stumble across. I keep on learning in this field, just found the Propellant Management Guide and the five inch rule before I went to Camp Perry for the Nationals.
I have some big gaps: I don't have good facts on primers, heard they last longer than powders, but don't have good data.
