Sounds like you got some bad ammo, dump it on Gunbroker and buy something better.

Lionking, I have shot a ton of Indian Nato surplus(1973) as well and it has always fuctioned fine. It shoots about 4 inch groups at 100 while the SA is 2 to 3. With no problems.Lots of ammo may vary but I wouldn't blame SA ammo for being the problem here.

Ok Blitzen, I'll keep a open mind still on the SA ammo and try it more in my M1A's. More use of it will give a better more definate answer of what I and my rifle can do with it before I make a final judgment.

As far as it in my FAL, I can adjust the gas system and see if it solves the problem. As it stands right now SA ammo, at least the batch I am using right now is just a no go in the FAL.

btw is SA ammo 145 gr or 147gr? Thought it was 147gr but a ammo dealer lists it at 145gr.
