I wear 10" boots ever day under jeans. Most ankle holsters are made for people wearing shoes, but I have an ankle condition that prevents this. Does any company make an ankle holster that is compatible with a 10" high Corcoran military boot? (looking to carry a small .22 or .32).

Also, another thing I might be interested is spare magazine holders that fit on your ankle....

Thanks!

Possibly, if the boot top is stiff enough and doesn't fit your calf too closely, a clip-on IWB holster, with a thumb break, for a small pistol, on the inside of the boot, might work. But I can't say for sure. Ken Null makes a dedicated ankle magazine carrier: http://klnullholsters.com/NewHolsters/ankx.htm Again, you could probably use a pouch clipped to the inside of your boot. Since a magazine is lighter and slimmer, there is less chance of it flopping around and beating your calf or even coming loose altogether.

I use a Desantis ankle holster (this one....http://www.desantisholster.com/stor...HOLSTERS/Leather-Ankle-Holster/Glock/26-27-33) for my Glock 26 and S&W 642. The strap just makes it around my USGI ICW "Matterhorn" type boots with enough to spare to be secure.

I believe one of the makers, maybe Galco, has a "strap extender" to allow holsters with straps that dont make it to fit. It would also be easy enough just to get a piece of velcro and make one up if you cant find what you need. Probably be the better and cheaper way to go anyway.

Its actually more comfortable to wear this type holster with a boot, as it gives it more support and isnt drawn up so tight against your leg to be uncomfortable.

The holster in the link above is one of the few I can wear comfortably with just normal shoes for a complete day (bed to bed) without discomfort. They are great holsters.
