Does RCBS completely lack imagination? They name their progressive press the 'Pro 2000' when Lee has a progressive press that's been around for quite some time named the 'Pro 1000' ???

I've never really been impressed by anything in the reloading press department beyond the single stage made by RCBS myself:rolleyes:

Really? The name indicates it's only twice as good :)

EDIT: For nearly 600 bucks, I'll take a Dillon 650...

WOW!!!!!!!
You guys show your collective reloading ignorance here. The RCBS 2000 has been around for a long time. It was introduced in 1999, thus the 2000 designation.

So it only took them 8-9 tears to figure out how to auto-index the press? Not bad:scrutiny:

I will probably just order the kit for the progressive to have it. I love my pro2000 and so far (now almost 8 years) have had no real complaints. A progressive would be interesting, but I have the manual down so pat I am not sure I will use it much.

I have lusted over both the LNL (especially when it came with 1000 free bullets) and the RCBS Pro 2000, but my Projector just keeps turning em out, so I guess I'll stick with it a bit longer. I may still get an LNL one day. :)

The free bullets deal is still on, I think. They extended it through this year, or at least that's what their website says.

I love my rcbs 2000, had a couple parts break because of my ignorance, called them the next day, and told them what I needed, the woman said "no Charge" I thought i was dreaming parts showed up three days later, and all for free, thats great customer service..
