Does anyone know the actual weight of an unloaded Makarov?

Have looked at makarov.com and haven't seen actual specs unless I'm just being blind and ignorant.

Gracias

Stephen

Thanks for the answer.
Still debating between a Bersa & the Mak (leaning towards the Mak; I think...)

BTW Received your 'Defensive Handguns' book today. Thanks.
Only flipped/skimmed a couple pages, but looks VERY well done.

Fixin' to sit down w/ it now. Just had a big meal @ Nikki's Italian on Davis in NRH so might be reading w/ my eyelids closed :D (Good food & comfortable atmosphere BTW)

and wifey just reminded me the cowboys are on; diffently nap time :(

What is NRH? I'm a true German Hun with a touch of French and Norwegian in my blood, ;) hey I'm from North Dakota (White people central in North America), but I have a sore spot for great Italian food. Please share where this great restaurant is located!!!

Personally, I'd take the Mak anyday over the Bersa, although the Bersa is not a bad gun either, just not as good of a fighting gun as the Mak in my opinion.

And I also believe that Italian Beretta 92's are one of the two finest handguns in the world.

The other being the Browning Hi-Power of course. ;) :)

Wondernine

NRH is North Richland Hills; a suburb here in the N TX - Ft Worth area.

Diffently leading toward the Mak.
I'm a gearhead at heart and all the options to play w/ the Makarov are a plus.

Enjoy cycling (pedal power) where I can find myself out in the boonies and considering a lighter/smaller gun than my CZ40B for slipping in my Camelback while riding.

Take Care

CZSteve - Bersa or Mak?

If you are trying to decide between the two, why not buy both, evaluate then sell the other. They are both relatively inexpensive and there's nothing like your own hands-on evaluation. Of course we would expect a full range report on both. :D

Stephen Camp has done an excellent reviews of both the Bersa and Mak you might want to review as well. I also believe he did a "compare and contrast" post on the two not too long ago.
