What is going on!

Am I the designated place for old Pony's to go when they get old?

(I hope so :D)

A 4inch Diamondback has joined the snubbies

A later model than I wanted, 1977.
Lots of holster wear but virtually no turn line.

Locks up tight, bore looks great.

Another shooter.

Can't wait to get to the range!!!

"Am I the designated place for old Pony's to go when they get old?'

yep, it's a dirty rotten thankless task, but somebody's gotta' do it
(better you than most) :D

nice find !

better you than most

Kind of you to say OldFool

I am blessed to have several great guns and I really do appreciate them.

Now if I can just find some more grips like that, I can replace the ones on the DB snub that I stole those off of :uhoh:

(the 4 inch had some bad homemade grips on it)

A beauty. I turned my nose up at a nice one three years ago - thought it was too expensive, but little did I know!

Is it a .38 or .22?

Either way, congratulations.

Nice gun.........Don't shoot it, though. They break easily and there's nobody left in the world to work Colt revolvers. At least that's what all the "experts" tell me. I'll say it before anybody else does, "Shoulda gotta a Ruger".....There, that pretty much covers it for the naysayers.:D

Damn it CPE,

I was dry firing it and a bunch of parts fell out.

Not being MIM, the parts looked like gnarled tin foil.

Had been planning on digging up a Colt gunsmith and see if I could reanimate him. (called Mel Brooks and left a message. Want to borrow the book "How I Did it!" from the movie Young Frankenstein)

(face hits palm) Should have gotten a Ruger!!!

I'm still on the hunt for a nice 4" .22 DB.

So are a lot of others. They can be gotten, but for a reasonable price, you gotta hunt hard. I've only got 6 snakes, and that ain't near enough. Still looking.

Nice score on the diamondback.

Good grief. What in the world did you want with that old thing? No rail. No laser sight. No super finish. Only six shots? Nobody can work on them.

You're not planning on shooting that old relic are you? ;)

Hello friends and neighbors // I hope pulling the trigger puts a smile on your face every time.

I happened to find a new Pawn Shop (new to me) with a .22 Diamondback,IIRC the DB was $1780.00.
The 1967 , 6" Python I looked at was $2800.00
I'd say about double the prices around here but the town has become a high dollar racing area and both revolvers looked mint.

Not my style so I did not inquire about them but if it is yours PM me.

:DThey did have 4 boxes of .32rf at half the price I normally find it and were very nice folks.

I'll pass on the responsibility to you when you stop using apostrophes to make fake plurals

The apostrophe makes it possessive...which I am about my ponies (better?)...but you are correct...my punctuation sucks.

This pony has joined several others...and the stable isn't THAT hard to maintain.
