The media outlet will cry Freedom Of Information. Tell 'em where that can go for 2 reasons: (1) posting "sex criminals" is one thing but the safety of responsible citizens who worked hard and PAID for the privledge of obtaining a CCW is now compromised. (2) Knowing YOU HAVE a CCW defeats the whole freaking reason for getting one!

Get with the issuing officials who authorized you to carry AND a damn good lawyer.. and slam these clowns with a Class Action Law Suit!!

Tell these media whores that they're putting ratings above the safety of law abiding citizens and gut 'em!

If there's another local TV/Radio/Newpaper folks in the area should contact them and ask if their "investigation" team can find out why peoples names and addresses were posted and why the station pulled them off. Did the station management intend for the names to be posted as part of station policy or did it get done without their approval? Were the names pulled after people complained and threatened to sue or after they realized how recklessly they had behaved as a station? Does this mean that the station management can't be trusted with public information? What do their advertisers think about the station putting that information out there on thousands of their customers?
