Please correct me if I am wrong,but this new legislation will apply to pre 1995 de activated firearms.The de activication rules were tighted up after 95.Still makes little sense,figures for incidents were de activated guns were used in crime is under 10.Musuem pieces and historical pieces may not be exempt from this legislation.
No difinitive wording on this as yet,it obviously has been well thought out by our Home Secretary and her cronies.
