I've noticed that there is no real thing as a long-overdue national conversation on any political topic. There are only longstanding norms that one activist or another wants to destroy. Every time a topic is attached to some sort of 'needed national dialog', it's a subject that has been hashed out for generations to no end.
Hopefully Keith will get another chance to continue this 'long-overdue conversation' and see if the facts and the rational debate had any affect whatsoever on the elite host who would never be caught dead on the wrong side of the tracks.
I'm firewalled off from youtube at work, but I'm going to spam this thread so that it's easier to find later. Looking forward to watching this one!

A good friend of mine from Colorado just now sent me the link to the vid. I told him I enjoyed watching it last night and Keiths retort "You're not?" was about my favorite part of the "rational" debate.
You know, we do need to keep this debate on freedom alive and have a long overdue conversation with every generation born because too many will easily give up the "Liberty" ship of chaotic freedom in a heartbeat for comfort and supposed security in an organized utopia they dream of. Half of our nation is so disposed at the moment. Maybe more than half.

I like how at the end he all of a sudden becomes comfortable with the guy next to him being armed, as if all of a sudden he had an epiphany and thought better of insulting people who he was scared of as being crazy.
The guy's got an irrational fear, and he's prejudiced.
No different than how the nation once had irrational fears and unfounded prejudices about black people. And no sir, it doesn't make it any better when you say, "Well, you're OK, it's just all the rest of you <insert epithet> who give you a bad name."
