Did anybody see on the news how these went today? I'm curious as to whether their attendance records were as dismal as the last time they tried this. I haven't seen a thing about it in the local news.

At the Capitol in St. Paul, MN they were only able to find 31 bodies (people without jobs who can stand around at 1pm on a weekday) although they needed 32 to make their point. That must have been their entire membership.

CNN Headline News reported today that 32 protesters lay down in front of the Supreme Court for 3 minutes, the time they say it takes to buy a handgun at a "unregulated gun show",whatever that is.
This. even though the killer Cho, bought his guns legally at a Virginia gun shop.
Is there any hope for these people, both CNN and these out of touch protesters?

Probably should have pee'd on them....

heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh

"Hey, now, don't get up, you'll ruin your little spectacle."

It's absolutely shameful how the PEG crowd masks their political agenda behind the guise that they actually give a damn about the victims at VT.

If that were the case, they'd be attacking VA gun laws, no gun show "loopholes," that to the best of my knowledge, exist only in the anti-right camp's heads.

Here in Cincinnati I would call it =what if they gave a protest and no one came....... you get 12 guys open carrying around a park enjoying camaraderie and the weather. News crew was there but no OFFICIAL group evidence or LIE IN, group of Pro 2a came with fliers and packing heat as the news man said opening the 6pm news live from a park with only a dozen guys standing there and no protesters protesting....lol

This whole thing is just a fundraiser to the antis. Want to see disgusting? This is the new Homepage for the Brady Campaign.

I direct your attention to the right, and "Click here to donate now!"

And this is part of the affront to human decency that was in my email yesterday.

"Dear Michael,

One year ago today, 32 students and faculty were murdered on the Virginia Tech campus.

Since then, there have been more than 32 additional school shootings.

Since then, there have been more than 32 murders by guns every day.

Today, we take a moment to remember all the victims and survivors of gun violence " as well as their families, friends, and loved ones " and we pledge to honor the victims by acting now to prevent gun violence.

Here's How You Can Honor the Victims Today:

MAKE A MEMORIAL DONATION TO THE BRADY CAMPAIGN
This past year, we worked with Virginia Tech victims and their families, as well as our Congressional allies, to strengthen the Brady background check system " and we succeeded! The next logical step: Congress should close the gun show loophole " the deadly gap that allows convicted criminals and domestic abusers to buy weapons from unlicensed sellers at gun shows without a Brady background check. We say: No background check, no gun, no excuses. Your contribution today will help the Brady Campaign put pressure on Congress to pass this life-saving bill. Click here to make a memorial contribution to the Brady Campaign.
Honor the victims by acting now. There are too many gun violence victims. Today is the day to do something about it.

Sincerely,

Sarah Brady, Chair

Donate to Support the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence."

Aren't the entire lives of the gun control folks just one big lie-in?

* More guns = more crime.
* Guns on college campuses is a bad idea.
* Anyone can shoot a plane out of the sky from 2 miles away with a .50 cal sniper rifle.
* If you try to defend yourself with a gun, your attacker will take it and use it on you.
* Owning a gun makes you 29 times more likely to be killed with a gun.

All lies. Why should yesterday have been any different for them?

I think most of the people involved in this are people who are scared and FEEL safer with the idea that guns are going away. They are "useful idiots" who are pawns in the overall campaign. Many of the ones I have met are simply non thinking pawns.

I have an employee that would have been down there with them a couple of months ago. She was AT tech during the shootings.

Now she is horrified and disgusted at the PEG group and has come around. Still not comfortable with guns, but understands the issues.

We should actively seek out the "pawns" help them understand and convert them. Some will never learn, some are simply using the others, but a majority are simply acting from the emotional side of the brain and could at least be moved to understand the issue.

So try to convert them before simply dismissing them if you get the opportunity.
