RE: .41 Mag
I must admit, being an engineer, I analyze the crap out of stuff. I have shot a ton of guns in my lifetime, and we have a huge range out my back door at work. I have ended up with two favorite cartridges for what they can deliver with their level and feel of recoil.
Of course my sniper pistol is a 22 Win Mag in the Savage Striker. My car gun is a .327 Magnum Revolver with a 4" barrel. Awesome power to weight. And the ultimate stud and sweetest shooting member of my carry group is the Taurus .41 mag with the 6.5" barrel. Sold my .44 after I shot several boxes from 650 ft-lbs to 1,300 ft-lbs through it. Just the difference of the POP and PAP and the feel in your hand.
Not that my opinion counts, but I have shot thousands through, and that is the two I feel like are 'me'....
