My experience with the PM45 is limited, but bases on that experience, I think I'm in love.
A friend came by the house recently with a PM45 that he had just acquired. I had a good supply of .45 ball on hand so we put a box through the little sweetheart.
Recoil seemed to be no greater than the felt recoil with my 1911. In short, recoil is definitely not an issue. And for sure the perceived recoil was not nearly as great as that with my LW Commander.
Trigger pull was outstanding. It felt like a well tuned and slicked DA revolver.
Reliability can't be judged with one box of ammo. But there were no problems with that one box.
Without benching the gun it is hard to say anything definitive about accuracy. But I can say that the "shootability" of the gun was awesome. After two or three ranging shots we were bouncing gallon milk jugs with some regularity at 100 yards shooting off hand, not every shot, but certainly half our shots. That's pretty stellar performance for a light-weight concealed carry pistol.
I have mentioned the PM45 in my letter to Santa. If that doesn't work, I'll have to buy one on my own.
