Any chance Ruger will ever make these again?

I can't beleave it would cost any more to build than the mini-14
I have a Ruger carbine 44 and a Ruger DeerField 44mag both great guns and if they brought eather one back out I'd get one ,

The 22 mag is way underrated, how about a semi-auto pistol with a four and a half inch or five inch barrel.

I have a AMT Automag II bought back in 1987, I really like it as accurate and operates flawlessly, but dang right expensive to feed.

You are right. And I wouldn't be at all surprised that they might even cost less to make than the Mini. I, too, always liked the Ruger .44 Magnum carbines but, for whatever reason (and, again, imo, not because they cost too much), not enough buyers had the same inclination as we do. A pity for sure but the market can be a hard and cold master. No demand equals no supply. Unfortunately, a lot of discontinued products end up that way for no good reason other than people simply didn't take to them. One of my favorite cartridges for deer hunting, the .358 Winchester, comes to mind.

I would argue that nothing is too expensive to manufacture if people buy it. For various reasons (and I don't think because they cost too much) people didn't buy too many original 44 Magnum carbines and that's the only reason why Ruger stopped making them. Kind of a basic marketing principle-no demand means no production.

The original was too expensive to manufacture. Due to its design, it had to be milled from a solid block of billet steel. Not compatible with investment casting. The second version was but as has been said, suffered poor sales.

The 10/22M was discontinued because a lot of them didn't work.

I wouldn't expect to see either back on the market but it shouldn't be a problem to find a used one.

I have three 22 WMR firearms: a Savage 93 FVSS bolt action rifle, a Taurus 8-shot, 941 Revolver (yes, it's been back to Taurus for repairs!), and a North American Arms Black Widow, which is one of my favorites.
