I received a sales flier from Natchez. They are listing a Tru-Glo 6-24x44 Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle Rifle Scope on sale for $59.99 (regular price is $285.11). I know that I'm not looking at a Leupold. But for $60, is it a decent scope?

The funny thing is, I looked at Tru-Glo's website and they don't list this model anywhere. I performed a Google search for the part number. The only thing that came up was the Natchez website.

I can't find any information on this model, whatsoever.

Can anyone offer any advice on this scope?

It's a closeout model and no longer made by Truglo. I have the 8-32 model on a precision 10-22, no problems with it, shoots a good box so the adjustments work well. The AO also seems to work very well, focus is easy to adjust.

The glass as you might expect is not the greatest but is acceptable, I keep mine on about 20-24 power and it works good enough. It's not a leupold/Burris/Zeiss etc., but well worth the $60.

Browning Guy,

What other low end scopes on the market would you compare the quality of glass of the TruGlo with?

I bought one at a gun show put it on a 10/22 I guess you could say got a low end scope not good glass by reason of distorting on higher power so I took it back off and put a 3x9 nikko sterling which is far better to look through not the fogging/dullness on targets experiencing is not too fun so I go no higer than x14 by other low end scopes nexstar would be compared to the same class others will have different choices but these are mine

i got one those tru-glo scopes last summer at that good price... the glass on mine seems pretty clear and nice to me........ i haven't had a chance yet to get to the range or anywhere to sight it in yet... it seems like a decent scope all the way around to me........
