I received a sales flier from Natchez. They are listing a Tru-Glo 6-24x44 Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle Rifle Scope on sale for $59.99 (regular price is $285.11). I know that I'm not looking at a Leupold. But for $60, is it a decent scope?

The funny thing is, I looked at Tru-Glo's website and they don't list this model anywhere. I performed a Google search for the part number. The only thing that came up was the Natchez website.

I can't find any information on this model, whatsoever.

Can anyone offer any advice on this scope?

I purchased one a few months ago from Natchez because I was happy with the TruGlo red dot sight I bought earlier. I sent it back and got a refund because the reticule was screwed up. I ended up buying a Barska tactical scope instead and am very happy with the build quality.

My experiances with Tru-glo were not that good. I bought one of their 2X red dots and wound up throwing it away. The field of view was way to small and the parallax was horrible. The factory told me there was nothing wrong with it and to just get used to it.

Natchez offers for 'retail' public sales, New, Discontinued and Refurbished optics.

The items will be listed as refurbished if they indeed are.

The 'big' price difference is an attractant only, they(natchez) lists the manufacturer minimum advertised retail price, then they show you the selling price... quite a difference.

As for Tru-Glo optics, they are on the same level as say... Bushnell Banners, Tascos, some higher end Leapers, Barskas, ect...

Not the 'best' by any means, but well worth a $60 bill-

:D
