thinking of useing cast 160 -180 grn 357`s and size down to 352 with a home made 351 die in lyman luber sizer for use in 351 win 1907 SL. anyone ever do this out there. will bore /ream out a old 30 or 32 cal sizer to 352 dia. i dont know if i need to gas check these..may be over the top for cast and run on up to pressure/velocity needed to cycle the action? any info is a help. thanks, Phil

Phil, Lee has a push through sizer that would be just the ticket for what you want. HERE is the page. You could ream a smaller one out or have them make the one you want. I would have one made, that way the punch fits properly. I have a couple of these and they work nicely for swaging bullets down without ruining the shape since they push the bullet through nose first. The base first sizers WRECK bullets if you take a fairly hard bullet and try to get more than a couple thousandths size reduction.

Hussygun--You might want to size and lube first in a .357 or .358 die to fill the lube groove. Two reasons, lube to ease the sizing and also fills the groove to minimize distortion of the groove with the additional sizing. good luck Nick
