I just found a Tyler T Grip in one of my junk drawers, and put it on my old S&W Highway Patrolman 4"er...I haven't used one in years, but they really make it easier for me to shoot .357's...I think I'm going to like my HP a lot more with it on.

Anyone else use one of these old fashioned gadgets?

Tyler's T Grip is still being made today...I recently bought one new (from stock) and it is on my 1967 Colt Cobra snubby...nice addition from the old days...

I've got 4 or 5 on S&W J and K frame revolvers.
I need another 4 or 5, but frankly I'm too cheap to pay the price.:)

I used to use one on my chief's special...but I never could get used to it. So I took it off. If i find it, I will post to give it away.

If anyone has one they don't want, to fit a Cold Detective Special, let me know!

I really like the T grips on smaller frame guns; I prefer smooth grips over rubber and the T grip helps fill the hand.

I've been using them since the 1960's

I carry the Model 19 in the winter and the 640-1 in the summer

Does any one have any opinions on the quality comparison of the later made to the older ones?

I put a flat black one on my wife's 2" Model 36 (1968), a brushed bronze on her 3" Model 36 (1973) and a polished bronze on her Pre Model 30 .32 S&W long (1949). They make all the difference in the world when shooting these weapons. They look great too!

I probably have the only DAN Wesson revolver wearing Tyler T's

Of course! IMHO, the very best grip possible on a J frame . . . compact, light, non-snag and very comfortable to shoot along with factory magnas or magna-profile elk stags (as shown here). This is the one that's always carried concealed . . .

Works great on its steel framed "brother" too . . .

A couple of months back I ran across this unfired NIB 2-3/4" Security Six for sale and I quickly bought it. I put the Tyler T grip on it and it fills the grip out nicely for a fuller fit in the hand. I also like the look too.

New to me 18-3. I put about 200 rounds through it this afternoon.

I bought this and a brushed aluminum grip a few months ago from the factory. There is a bit of a wait.

I have them on a number of my revolvers.

A 357 Magnum 5" (also known as the pre-27).

Makes for a very comfortable grip and good control, even with a magnum.

I just got one for my 1968 Detective Special and it made a huge difference. I'm considering getting rid of the new Hogue wood grips on my J-frame and trying stock grips with the Tyler.
