Any reason not to move to Missouri?

Yea, I spent my formative years in the KC area; Boones Farm, Red Man, and the girls I drank with. Then I went and spoiled it all by heading for Leonard Wood. But one word sums up why I never want to live there again...chiggars!

My gosh, being from Ga I do know of chiggars!

I dated a lady from NYC that had moved here at one time.

We were talking and the subject turned to mosquitos and I told her about chiggars.

Honest to goodness, she tried to say I was bringing up something racist. Ya know, because of the pronunciation of the word?

As it turns out, she was alllll NYC - meaning everyone in the United States not from NYC is racist, bigoted, uneducated and uncaring. Very typical do as I say not as I do person. ;
