out of stock at store.. neither model was available... not surprised ... they wouldnt check other stores,.. and on phone recorded msg said they wont check item availability... gotta physically go to the store. .. closest to me is abt half hour away.... so unless a fellow enthusiast happens to know of LGS in their town with stock .. im outta luck for now

aint gonna pay $400+ for a gunbroker 88 Maverick ... my various pistols will have to be my HD for now

I bought a PGO Maverick 88 a number of years ago because they were readily available and cheaper than the full stocked version. I then picked up a Mossberg 500 synthetic stock for $20 at a local gun show for it. Like others have suggested maybe try looking at local gun shops or pawn shops to see what you can find in a used pump action.

Every gun store I go to is overflowing with used pump action shotguns for sale cheap. I'm seeing a huge glut. Almost no demand in a market dominated by ARs and striker fired pistols.
