Ive been hunting for a few years now, using mainly my .30-06. Looking to get into the Ar-15 platform. Was wondering what chambering you guys were thinking. Ive heard nothing but good things coming from the 6.5 Grendel. Any input?

I would say look into a 6.8 SPC. Just make sure it is from one of the site sponsors over at http://68forums.com/

H at AR15Performance is about the best and cheapest you can get in a 6.8. Some of the guys have been doing good things over there. Just browse around and read. If you like what you read join the site for free.

I like the idea of a .277 zipping along at 2500 - 2900FPS out of a 16" bbl AR.
