So, during the Clinton ban I couldn't afford an AR or anything else "Tacti-cool", now that it's sunsetted and i have the means...I CAN'T STOP!!!

Anybody else got this "problem"? (i personally don't see it as a problem, but the wife seems to disagree.)

Lets see some other multi-AR households.

i have all of them i need. at least ones that end in 15, but yes, i am totally addicted to them, and reloading for them. (see june ar15 match)

Nope. Can't get interested enough to drop the money. Your's are great, fun to see them. I might buy a lower....for the future. Is that opening Pandora's box?

Nice rifles, I have 2 myself. I like AR's. My only complaint about them is the "stock" trigger... ack.

Oh man...
I had to find a cure for it..

18 months ago, I bought my first semi SDI 14.5" M4gerie... 12months later I was building my 5th AR (including a select fire Colt M4) ...

To stop that, i had to get back buying nice 19th century era Winchesters and SAAs...

You bet!
I only have one AR, but i'm drop-dead in love with it. I'm a huge fan of KISS ar's but the tacticool ones are A-OK in my book also

I have one, but I'm addicted to putting crap onto it. First, it was just a normal AR. Then, I added rails. Then, rail covers. Then a vertical foregrip. Then I decided to add a new pistol grip. Then a simple sling.

I am still waiting to get the money to put flip-up BUIS, an EOTech 512, and a VLTOR stock onto it.

I have a lot of rifles but I always come back to the AR. Right now there are two sitting on my kitchen table, a Stag and a Smith/Bush, as I'm installing Badger Ordnance Gen II tactical latches. Not only are they great rifles to shoot, they are wonderful to work on. I had a third one, a DPMS Tuber, that I could never warm up to, so we parted ways.

incredible accuracy can be had from the ar platform.

in the june ar15 match, class 4, which is 100yrd scoped, has all top three spots currently held by sub moa groups. these are not 3 shot groups or even 5. they are ten shot groups.

1st place is 10 shots in .5 inches. thats a 10 shot group the size of a penny, lol.

the is even an open sighted group of 10 shots at 100 yards of .8 inches.

just amazing.

I think the AR's are the best platform.
They are affordable (again) and you can get anything you never even thought off by now in at least 5 calibers!
From SBR to long range shooting everything is covered.
There is only one other rifle which I am not even sure if it is more common: The Ruger 10/22.
By the way, I count the AR10 to the same family!

trigger

A great rifle has to have a great trigger:) I recently installed a new Wilson Combat modular drop in trigger, and I am VERY impressed so far....totally user drop in, no adjustments, and it is designed as a TACTICAL- hard use trigger, not a super light varmit gun trigger.

Hey, Storm, those look good. What brands are those ?

Thanks. The one above is all Stag Arms (Model 3H upper) with an ARMS QD mount, Yankee Hill BUIS, and an incredibly good red dot whose manufacturer I do not recall. I went with an A2 stock with this one and really like the results.

The AR below is a Smith & Wesson lower with a Bushmaster AK SHorty upper. The stock has a Commnad Arms stock saddle and sight handle. I plan to upgrade the sight handle, but the CAA isn't all that bad.

Both rifles have extended trigger guards and Badger Ordnance Gen II Tac latches. Other than that I like to keep it simple.

I have calmed down a bit and recently sold 2 of my AR's that didn't get much use and since prices were so high I figured why not, now I'm down to 4.

I've got a pair of RRA AR-15s
The Varmint rifle started out as a trade for a SA1911, Loaded Parkerized base pistol. It was a trade I couldnt refuse:D The rifle was a RRA 16" Middy, with a CMMG lower, MagPul stock, UTG rail. The end result is a Predator Pursuit upper, RRA NM lower, put together by trading only. The original purchase of the SA1911 was a mere $639:p

My second AR is a RRA 9mm, Eotech 552 that I picked up for $150 off a Cop buddy, Troy Drop in rail, LaRue sling, MI buis.

Would love to have more, but I like other rifle platforms too;)

As traded to me

I see alot of nice rifles, but not alot of familiar names.

why didn't you guys enter the June AR Paper Plate match with some of these?:D

Started building em 6 months ago for SHTF guns and now been bitten by the accuracy bug. Two RRA NM and a White Oak on the way. To go with the colts and DPMS's I already own. Always hated black guns. What happened?

If I would have entered it just wouldn't have been fair to the rest of you! :neener:
